NEW Direction

What am I doing at the moment:
Drawing from the darker, macabre side of the original fairy tale (think brothers Grimm, hans christian anderson). These tales, pre sanitised by'Disney' entailed gore and severe punishment...dancing in red hot shoes til death...cutting off toes and heals...eyes picked out by birds...
I want to create soft creatures/toys on a large scale (thinking around 1m tall) create a background story/talefor them. Disperse them throughout city parks. They may be maimed or mutants, or impaled, or suffered form an untimely death.

Watch for better scenarios that will explain the 'maiming part' better/clearer.
